Here at Daymak, we offer limited, but reasonable warranty coverage on parts that are defective from factory. In other words, anything that fails or breaks as the result of a manufacturer's defect. This warranty is included in your PDI charge and covers all labor costs during the warranty period when repaired by Daymak.
Parts Warranty** Period (from Date of purchase):
Frame/Swing Arm/Engine - 1 Year.*
All other components - 90 days.**
Now, let’s define reasonable:
As expected, recreational motor vehicles are often subjected to considerably more stress than street legal vehicles. In some cases, they're driven in ways that push the envelope of their capabilities, and or the drivers for that matter. As with all motor sports, an element of discretion is an absolute must. Those failing to exercise good discretion commit to the risks associated in failing to do so -- it’s really that simple!
A couple of examples would be:
- You decide to take that corner a little too fast and dump the bike resulting in cosmetic damage. Well… You can’t ‘reasonably’ expect us to compensate you for that.
- You decide to break out the video cameras to capture the pocket bike smoke show of a lifetime, but roach the engine in doing so. Again… You can’t ‘reasonably’ expect to compensate for that. You took a chance and got unlucky…
- In an attempt to be super cool, you keep winding the engine up to 7,000 RPM and dumping the clutch. Ooops… One too many times and you’ve toasted that clutch. You don’t expect us to compensate you for that, do you?
Suffice it to say, if you’re going to torture “any” machine, things are going to break prematurely. Therefore, you should be as equally as enthusiastic about ‘fixing stuff’ as you were breaking it!
So here’s what the manufacturer's warranty will not cover
Manufacturer's limited warranty does not cover parts including, but not limited to Material (seats), Fairings (plastics), brake pads, tires, tubes, or damage due to lack of maintenance, accident, misuse or abuse. Yes… It’s up to you to check fluids and do regular oil changes. That too is part of the pocket bike hobby!
But how do you know the difference between abuse and a defect?
Because we’re smart, that’s how! :-) But seriously though, we’ve been at the small engines game for a very long time. When you invest this many hours into design, repairs, and modifications, it becomes easier to recognize the difference between a defective part, and a machine that’s had the living daylights beaten out of it.
Thinking of modifying anything?
Any modifications made to this vehicle void the warranty. Can you imagine trying to warranty bikes that people have modified? Please don’t, or if you must, do so when the warranty runs out.
Defective parts?
You may return defective parts at your expense and we’ll send you a replacement part at our expense. Depending on the seriousness of the failure, we may ask for a picture of the part/s in question, and to also verify warranty information. Once the warranty claim is approved, we’ll send the replacement part(s) by Canada Post Expedited Service. You should have them within 24-hours in most cases.
If the required part(s) are not in stock and must be ordered, an estimated delivery time will be given. Warranty is not extended to products sold on-line and does not transfer to products bought through any Daymak Dealer without written authorization from Daymak Inc.
All Boxed Units, and units purchased on-line, are covered by a 14-day parts only warranty.
Why is this? We’re glad you asked! In an ideal world, everyone would be capable assembling the product perfectly. Well… That isn’t always the case. The resulting consequence can be a host of problems, or premature failures from incorrectly installed /assembled components. Now, how are we supposed to ‘reasonably’ warranty this? For all we know, the bike was assembled with nothing more than a pair of vice grips and a screwdriver, or... Perhaps some well-intentioned soul put engine coolant in the crankcase. We were not there, so we have no idea what they did, or did not do.
The products are not that difficult to assemble, but the assembler should have a basic working knowledge of bikes and small engines 101. If not, please ask a qualified friend to help in the initial assembly.
Nitro Cars are Sold as-is and have no warranty for ‘obvious’ reasons
*Not valid on Pocket bikes, Electric Scooters & Gas Scooters. Saigon Scooter is 1 year on the engine or 10,000 km, whatever comes first.

We assemble the product and make sure it's working to industry standards and include a warranty period.
